Modernist Sputnik Ceiling Light, 1950s
Description: Brilliant modernist ceiling light from the 1950s. Five brass arms in varying lengths, each with an opaque acrylic diffuser, are mounted slightly asymmetrically on a minimalist brass ceiling unit. Despite their different lengths, the arms are angled in such a manner that the diffusers are all the same distance from the ceiling. Very good condition with some light wear to the black lacquer. Each arm has two E14 sockets with new wiring. Diameter of the diffusers is 9.5inches/24cm.
